Job summary

3D Recruitment has partnered with an established commercial builder delivering projects across Victoria, including community, education, health and commercial sectors.

The role targets a seasoned Project Manager with 7–10 years in commercial construction to lead projects from planning through to completion, coordinating clients, consultants, subcontractors and internal teams.

Qualifications

• 7–10 years’ experience in commercial construction with full project lifecycle delivery.
• Experience as a Project Manager on commercial construction projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead projects from initiation through to completion, ensuring quality, programme and cost outcomes.
• Establish project teams, responsibilities, systems and delivery processes at project commencement.
• Lead project teams and coordinate subcontractors, consultants and suppliers throughout delivery.
• Manage client relationships, project meetings and key stakeholder communications.
• Oversee procurement, tendering, subcontractor selection, scopes of work and commercial commitments.
• Manage variations, progress claims, EOTs, NODs, subcontractor accounts and contractual requirements.
• Monitor project programmes, identify risks and implement recovery actions where required.
• Oversee design coordination, shop drawings, RFIs, approvals and design issues.
• Ensure quality assurance, safety and project compliance requirements are maintained.
• Support site operations and work closely with the Site Manager to ensure smooth project delivery.
• Manage project documentation, reporting and financial tracking through to completion.
• Lead practical completion, handover, final accounts and project closeout.

This opportunity is suited to a construction professional with strong project delivery experience who enjoys managing projects from planning through to completion and working closely with clients, consultants, subcontractors and internal project teams.

THE ROLE

YOU

• 7–10 years’ experience in commercial construction with full project lifecycle delivery experience.
• Proven experience as a Project Manager managing commercial construction projects.
• Strong contract administration, procurement and financial management skills.
• Confident leading project teams, subcontractors, consultants and client stakeholders.
• Strong understanding of project programming, risk, quality and safety management.
• Excellent communication, leadership and problem-solving skills.
• Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, Engineering or equivalent qualification.
• Procore experience highly regarded, with strong Microsoft Project and Excel skills.
