Job summary

We are on the lookout for experienced Project Manager's to join our team and support the successful delivery of infrastructure, construction and commercial projects. You will be responsible for planning, coordinating and delivering project outcomes in line with agreed scope, schedule, budget, quality and safety requirements. Working closely with internal stakeholders, contractors and consultants, you will help drive successful project delivery while ensuring effective governance, stakeholder engagement and project controls throughout the project lifecycle.

About the role

Lead the planning and delivery of project activities, ensuring work is completed safely, on time, within budget and in line with agreed project objectives. Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, deliverables and milestones that align with Perth Airport's project management framework and business priorities. Coordinate project scope definition, requirements gathering and stakeholder consultation to establish clear project outcomes and success measures. Build and maintain effective relationships with internal stakeholders, contractors, consultants and governance groups to support successful project delivery. Monitor project risks, issues, dependencies and changes, implementing mitigation strategies and escalating matters where required. Manage project resources, budgets and expenditure, providing accurate forecasting, reporting and recommendations to support decision making. Prepare project documentation, reports, presentations and status updates that clearly communicate progress, risks and project performance. Support project closeout, transition and continuous improvement activities, including lessons learned, audits and handover to operational teams.

About You

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management or a related discipline, supported by more than five years of relevant project or construction management experience. Demonstrated technical knowledge of construction systems, engineering applications and construction methods and materials relevant to major infrastructure projects. Strong project management capability across planning, scheduling, cost management, resource allocation and risk management. Experience managing contracts and commercial arrangements, including monitoring deliverables and ensuring compliance with project requirements. Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to build strong relationships and tailor messages to different audiences. Proven ability to plan and prioritise work, coordinate multiple activities and deliver outcomes aligned with organisational objectives. Strong problem solving and decision making skills, with the ability to navigate complexity, balance stakeholder needs and respond effectively to changing priorities. Demonstrated commitment to accountability, customer focus, continuous improvement and delivering high quality results in a fast paced environment.
