Job summary

Evoke Recruitment is partnering with a leading earthmoving contractor in Adelaide to appoint a Project Manager or Senior Project Engineer for greenfield land development across a portfolio of sites. You will lead delivery, coordinate the program, budget, and client relationships to ensure on‑time, within‑spec outcomes.

The role demands a civil engineering degree, strong contracts experience, and proven leadership, with hands‑on delivery and a sharp focus on safety and quality.

Qualifications

• Bachelor level degree in civil engineering or equivalent.
• Experience across land subdivision and/or civil construction.
• Contracts management.
• Excellent communication, leadership and negotiation skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
• Driven and enthusiastic with a positive, hands-on attitude to project delivery.
• Right to work in Australia (not requiring sponsorship).

Our client is searching for an experienced Project Manager and Senior Project Engineer from within the urban development civil contracting sector to take on a leadership position across a portfolio of greenfield land projects in Adelaide.

You will be accountable for the overall performance of either a portfolio of projects or specific projects dependent upon the experience from within the urban development civil construction industry, and as such will be required to:

• Administer the head contract and subcontracts.
• Establish and maintain the construction program.
• Establish and monitor the budgets.
• Manage clients, subcontractors, suppliers, and employees.
• Ensure the project quality, safety and environmental objectives are achieved.
• Submit monthly project reports for review.

Must Have

• Bachelor level degree in civil engineering or equivalent.
