Bechtel seeks an IT leader to manage project IT teams and coordinate automation across complex programs in Brisbane or Sydney. You will set project IT goals and align resources to deliver on strategic objectives, while promoting best practices in governance and security.

In this role you will drive cross‑functional collaboration, oversee budgets and vendors, and ensure ICT security controls are integrated into project delivery. Australian citizenship or clearance eligibility is required.

Qualifications

• Requires a bachelor’s degree and 8–14 years of relevant IT experience.
• Experience leading IT operations within projects or businesses.
• Knowledge of infrastructure, security, and information management.
• Ability to develop and implement technology solutions for project goals.

Responsabilités

• Provide supervision of IT staff, operations, and services on a complex project.
• Coordinate IS&T resources to develop strategies, staffing plans and budgets.
• Develop and implement the Project Automation Plan.
• Maintain project IT budget and forecasts.
• Ensure compliance with ICT security controls in the project environment.
• Oversee onboarding/offboarding and user provisioning.
