Job summary

Newmont Corporation is seeking a Project Engineer to support sustaining capital engineering projects at the Tanami mine in the Northern Territory. The role requires coordination across Mine Operations, Process Operations, Asset Management, Technical Services and Sustaining Capital Projects to meet engineering standards and project goals.

Qualifications

Degree in Engineering, Project Management, or related discipline.
Experience delivering sustaining capital projects in mine operations preferred.
Ability to plan, schedule, budget and execute engineering deliverables.
Familiarity with KPIs, project tracking and reporting metrics.

Responsibilities

Support engineering design and planning for sustaining capital projects and allocate resources.
Monitor progress, document completion rates and identify improvements.
Perform on-site inspections to ensure compliance with plans and standards.
Prepare project documents including drawings, specs and compliance reports.
Collaborate with procurement to manage materials and equipment for projects.
