Qualifikationen

• Tertiary qualifications in Science, Engineering, Safety, or a related field
• Advanced capability in health and safety risk management
• Knowledge of industrial hygiene monitoring and exposure data preferred
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills within established systems
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and leadership abilities
• Underground mining experience is highly desirable

Aufgaben

• Lead audits, inspections, and verifications to identify hazards and drive corrective actions
• Analyse incidents and conduct robust root-cause investigations to prevent recurrence
• Interpret health and safety performance data to identify trends and risks
• Provide technical support on hazard identification, risk assessment, and controls
• Support risk-based management of change for health and safety
• Collaborate with peers to share learnings and drive safety improvements
• Lead deployment of safety programs and build leadership capabilities
• Lead and coach a high-performing Health and Safety team
• Oversee industrial hygiene programs including monitoring and data analysis
• Drive continuous improvement of HSE management systems and compliance
• Establish and maintain HSE representative programs and workforce engagement
• Monitor contractor HSE performance and alignment with site standards
• Maintain up-to-date regulatory knowledge and compliance
• Oversee process safety risk management plans and controls
• Provide leadership for Medical and Emergency Response capabilities
