Contec Recruitment is seeking a Project Engineer for a Queensland civil contractor delivering landmark earthworks, pavements, culverts and rail installations. The role runs for several years and sits within a high-profile joint-venture environment on medium to large infrastructure programs.

You will lead planning, feasibility and resourcing, provide weekly and monthly reporting, and drive business development and market research.

Job description

This QLD owned and operated civil contractor has delivered landmark projects across the state. They have a reputation as a reliable and fair contractor who maintains positive relationships with stakeholders and clients.

This project will run for 3 – 5 years, incorporate: Earthworks, pavements road, culvert and rail installations. Their current work has a refreshing range of delivering their own projects as Head Contractor on medium sized projects of Joint Venturing with equally reputable contractors in Billion dollar infrastructure jobs.

As Project Engineer, you will be responsible for:

• Planning, Feasibility & resourcing
• Reporting on a weekly & monthly basis
• Business Development & market research

To be successful you must have a proven track record of delivering TMR projects with a civil contractor in similar conditions. While reporting directly into the Project manager, providing progress, financial and forecast reports across your area.
