Job summary

Koppens Developments Pty is seeking a Civil Project Engineer to manage and monitor the delivery of civil construction projects from planning through execution in Cairns, Queensland. The role requires interpreting drawings, coordinating现场 testing and ensuring documentation is properly stored, while maintaining professional client relations.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor of Engineering with 3+ years in civil construction and has experience with Water & Wastewater or Road projects under DTMR

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Engineering with 3+ years in Civil Construction.
• Experience in Water & Wastewater and/or Road Construction (DTMR).
• Relocation to Cairns, Far North Queensland or residing there.

Responsibilities

• Manage and monitor project delivery to meet scope, budget and quality.
• Develop and implement QHSE plans and ensure compliance on a project basis.
• Manage resources according to construction program and daily activities.
• Ensure onsite testing and project documentation is stored correctly.
• Provide technical recommendations and interpret project drawings.
• Assign tasks to project team and maintain stakeholder relationships.

Job description

Manage and monitor the delivery of the project to ensure program, budget, quality, environmental and contractual obligations are achieved safely, and prompt corrective actions where required. Interpret and develop Quality, Work Health & Safety and Environmental management plans and assist with compliance on a project basis. Manage resources in accordance with a construction program and daily activities Deliver quality assurance as per contractual requirements Ensure onsite testing and relevant project documentation is collated and stored correctly. Demonstrate professional communication and client relations skills Interpret project drawings and provide technical recommendations to the project team. Proven verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills with an ability to develop and maintain relationships across diverse stakeholders. Effectively assign tasks to project team members to deliver the required outputs to agreed specifications.

Bachelor of Engineering 3+ years' experience in Civil Construction Experience in the delivery of Water & Wastewater and/or Road Construction Projects (DTMR) Relevant technical knowledge, including local and state specifications Strong problem-solving skills and solutions driven approach Relocation to, or currently reside in Cairns, Far North Queensland
