John Holland is recruiting a Signalling Project Engineer for the Illabo to Stockinbingal Inland Rail project based in Cootamundra. The role leads engineering activities, manages planning, forecasting, safety and compliance, and oversees subcontractors to support construction delivery on a major national infrastructure program.

Inland Rail is transforming how goods are moved around Australia, connecting Melbourne and Brisbane via regional Victoria, New South Wales and Queensland. This 1,700km fast freight backbone will complete our national freight network – better connecting producers to markets and creating new opportunities for regional businesses, industries and communities.
The Illabo to Stockinbingal project is about 39km of new rail corridor located within the local government areas of Junee and Cootamundra-Gundagai. This new section of rail corridor will provide a direct route from east of Illabo, tracking north to Stockinbingal and connecting into the existing Forbes rail line.
We are currently recruiting for an experienced Signalling Project Engineer to join the team on our Cootamundra based project.
The Signalling Project Engineer will help lead engineering activities for the Illabo to Stockinbingal Inland Rail project, managing planning, forecasting, safety and compliance. The role oversees subcontractors, prepares documentation, and supports construction delivery. It suits an experienced rail signalling professional ready to work onsite on a major national infrastructure project.
