John Holland is seeking a Civil Project Engineer for the Beerburrum to Nambour Rail Upgrade on Queensland's Sunshine Coast. Based at Beerburrum, you will coordinate civil and rail construction activities, ensure safety, quality and on-time delivery within budget and contract requirements.
You will lead multidisciplinary teams, engage stakeholders, and maintain accurate reporting while driving progress against milestones on a major rail infrastructure program.

John Holland is delivering the Beerburrum to Nambour Rail Upgrade (B2N) on Queensland’s Sunshine Coast. This major rail infrastructure program is designed to increase capacity, improve reliability and support the region’s long-term growth.
This complex, multi‑disciplinary project includes significant signalling, rail systems and interface works delivered in a live rail environment, requiring close collaboration with Queensland Rail, designers, certifiers and delivery partners.
Based at Beerburrum project site, this project offers exposure to a large-scale rail upgrade and the opportunity to contribute to a high-impact transport solution while developing your career within a Tier 1 environment
We have an opportunity for a Civil Project Engineer to join our team based in Beerburrum, the role is responsible for coordinating and delivering civil and rail construction activities on the Beerburrum to Nambour (B2N) Rail Upgrade Project, ensuring works are completed safely, on time, within budget, and in accordance with approved designs, specifications, and contractual requirements. You will need effective stakeholder engagement, reporting, and commercial awareness to support the successful delivery of this major rail infrastructure project.
