Job summary

Multiplex is seeking an experienced Project Engineer in Canberra to help shape landmark projects. You will coordinate the construction process, linking design, building services and subcontractors to achieve project objectives.

Strong scheduling and problem-solving skills are essential. You will bring tertiary qualifications in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture or equivalent, plus proven site experience on mid-large scale commercial projects.

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualifications in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture or equivalent.
• Proven site experience on mid-large scale commercial projects.
• Confidence in reading drawings.
• Knowledge of the Building Code of Australia.
• Solid analytical & problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide overall technical coordination of the construction process with the senior management team.
• Coordinate and document design and program requirements to align with project objectives.
• Link between design, building services and sub-contracts to ensure objectives are met.
• Collaborate with sub-contractors and consultants to resolve day-to-day construction and design issues.
• Mentor and manage Site Engineers/Graduates to support team effectiveness.
