Longreach Recruitment is seeking a commercially minded Project Engineer to join our WA client, a respected mid-tier commercial builder. The role is office-based and focuses on procurement packages from review to subcontract award across commercial, industrial, manufacturing and logistics projects up to $70m.

You will work within the Pre-Construction team, coordinate with suppliers and internal stakeholders, and contribute to project delivery through strong systems, time management, and clear

• 5+ years of experience within local commercial and industrial construction.
• Exposure to subcontract procurement, contract administration and commercial management processes.
• Excellent time management and ability to work with established systems.

This private owned tier 2 commercial builder has been longstanding within the WA market. With a focus on establishing key relationships, a high level of service and a reputation for delivering on time and on budget, they continue to pave the way in project delivery.

Focusing on the commercial, industrial, agricultural and resource sectors, they specialise in warehouses, offices, bulk storage, workshops, distribution & Industrial facilities with projects ranging up to $70m.

They are now seeking a commercially minded Project Engineer to join their Pre-Construction team. The role will be responsible for managing procurement packages from initial review through to subcontract award across a diverse portfolio of commercial, industrial, manufacturing & logistics projects. This is an office based role.

Key Requirements:

• Hold a construction related degree or relevant qualification (not essential).
• 5+ years' experience within construction working on local commercial and industrial projects.
• Exposure to subcontract procurement, contract administration and commercial management processes.
• Excellent time management skills.
• Must be highly competent on systems.
• Exposure to mechanical, electrical, fire, refrigeration or hydraulic services
• Strong communication skills when dealing with clients.
• Site based project engineering experience will be highly desirable.
