Job summary

New Venture Recruitment is seeking a Project Engineer for piling, shoring and basement work on the Gold Coast, Queensland. You will coordinate site operations, manage programs, and assist with method statements, ITPs and safety docs.

You will liaise with clients and internal teams, monitor productivity and costs, and support the Construction/Project Manager across multiple sites. Australian-based candidates are preferred.

Qualifications

• Degree-qualified in civil/geotechnical field or equivalent experience.
• Experience as Project Engineer / Site Engineer on piling or foundations projects.
• Solid understanding of CFA, bored piles, secant walls or similar ground methods.
• Confident with programs, quality, safety and client communication.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate site operations, plant, materials and subcontractors.
• Manage programs, daily reporting and progress tracking.
• Assist with method statements, ITPs, risk assessments and quality docs.
• Liaise with clients, consultants, site teams and management.
• Monitor productivity, costs and safety performance.
• Support Construction Manager / Project Manager across sites.
