Agilitus is seeking an experienced Mechanical Project Engineer to join our team in Australia. You will contribute to the successful delivery of multidiscipline projects, prioritise tasks, and manage deadlines and budgets with minimal supervision.
You’ll perform site visits, inspections, and prepare reports and risk assessments, while liaising with clients and internal stakeholders within an inclusive workplace that values flexibility, development plans, and mentoring from leading experts.
At Agilitus, we’re not your typical engineering and design consultancy, we’re a people‑first community built on collaboration, shared values, and a genuine no‑blame culture. We believe the best solutions come from working together (and having fun while we do it!).
We offer three career paths, technical, project, and people leadership, so you can grow in the direction that suits you best. Progression here is based on ability and attitude, not years of experience.
We’re also 100% employee‑owned, meaning every person has a real stake in our shared success. Our leadership development program supports emerging leaders at all levels, and our flexible structure means new opportunities are created as we grow.
To support our ongoing growth, Agilitus is seeking an experienced Mechanical Project Engineer to join the team, you'll be responsible for contributing to the successful delivery of multidiscipline projects. Determining priorities, meeting strict deadlines and budget demands whilst having the ability to work under pressure with minimal supervision.
You’ll be part of an inclusive, diverse, and equitable workplace with access to flexible work arrangements, personalised development plans, and wellbeing support. We offer competitive remuneration with incentives and paid overtime, generous primary and secondary parental leave, paid professional memberships, and mentoring from industry‑leading technical experts. We’re also proud partners of Engineers Australia, providing a supported pathway for engineers to achieve chartered status.
Agilitus is an advocate for Equal Employment Opportunity, and we encourage applications even if your experience doesn’t align with every requirement in the job description. You still may be the right candidate for this or other available roles.
We will only be accepting applicants with current Australian working rights, at this time.
