Job summary

Agilitus is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to join our Newcastle team, supporting and expanding capabilities across resources, energy and industrial sectors. You will work within a collaborative, supportive culture and contribute to multidisciplinary engineering solutions for clients and communities.

You will undertake electrical, instrumentation and controls design from concept through commissioning, ensuring projects adhere to client standards and Australian regulations while fitting

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualification in Electrical/Instrumentation and/or Controls.
• High level experience with applicable engineering design software.
• A positive attitude and commitment to continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Undertake electrical, instrumentation and controls design from concept to commissioning.
• The delivery of projects and compliance with client standards and AS/NZS regulations within budgets and timeframes, including development of systems, tools and procedures.
• Assist with the preparation and development of proposals that can be delivered successfully.

We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Electrical Engineer to join our Newcastle team. As our client portfolio grows across the resources, energy and industrial sectors, this position will help support and expand our engineering and design capabilities. This a great opportunity for a talented and passionate Engineer to be part of a supportive and collaborative team.

From powering operations to lighting up new possibilities, our electrical team offer a full suite of EIC Engineering services including Power Supply & Distribution, Temporary & Permanent Power Supply Design, Process Plant Controls Design, Lighting & Small Power Supply, and Plant Utility Upgrades & Improvements.

Responsibilities

• Undertaking Electrical, Instrumentation and Controls design tasks from concept through to commissioning.


• The delivery of projects and complying with client standards, Australian Standards and regulations within prescribed budgets and timeframes, including the development of systems, tools, and procedures.


• Assist with the preparation and development of proposals, that can be delivered successfully.

Here’s what you’ll need

• Tertiary qualification in Engineering (Electrical/Instrumentation and/or Controls)


• High level of experience and ability in use of applicable and relevant engineering design systems and software


• Have a positive attitude towards the role and the company with displaying an interest in continuous improvement.
