Job summary

Georgiou Group is delivering disaster recovery works on a major Australian highway, with FIFO and accommodation options for SEQ residents. The role involves managing civil and slope stabilisation tasks across brownfield sites, ensuring schedule, safety and quality targets are met while coordinating subcontractors.

Responsibilities

• Ensure construction-related aspects of the project meet or exceed the required performance targets in relation to time, cost and quality
• Maintain our contractual schedule/program, including productivity units and extension of time
• Engagement and management of subcontractors from tender to scope delivery in a way to embodies our vision to be 'the best people to work with'
• Monitor and report on task productivity, financial outcomes and performing cost control to ensure project targets are optimised
• Provide daily support, team supervision and feedback to field operations to produce high-quality project outcomes against company set performance criteria
• Ensure project HSEQ objectives are set, shared and adhered to in order to maintain an exemplary safety culture aligned to the values of 'Safety is My Way'

Job description

Georgiou Group has partnered with Koppen's Construction to deliver disaster recovery works on one of Australia's most beautiful highways. The project will involve various civil and slope stabilisation works across multiple brownfield sites where your expertise is needed. There is FIFO and accommodation options for anyone living in SEQ.

What you'll do (but not limited to):

What you're good at:

• Aside from having relevant tertiary qualifications and similar project experience, you're driven and confident in your management and planning abilities with both contractors/suppliers and project compliance as well as possess high standards in managing safety, quality and environment.
• You will have experience with civil and/or structural engineering principles across vaires mid/high value projects.
• Knowledge of slope stabilisation, disaster/flood recovery, pavements and traffic management woud be highly desirable.
