Job summary

CPB Contractors is seeking experienced Project Engineers for the Bundaberg Hospital design phase in Queensland, Australia. You will coordinate design, procurement and construction elements for a designated area on a major infrastructure project.

As a Project Engineer, you will manage short- and long-term construction planning, assist in monthly reporting, develop KPI analyses and ensure safety and regulatory compliance on site.

Qualifications

• Recognised degree in an engineering discipline.
• Minimum 5 years relevant experience.
• Experience delivering building construction projects.
• Commercial planning up to 4 weeks ahead and weekly cost/time reporting.
• Development and leadership of SHEQ processes and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate procurement and construction elements for the designated work area.
• Manage the short- and long-term construction planning for works under control including submittals, start-up planning and programming.
• Assist the Senior Project Engineer in preparing accurate monthly reports.
• Develop and monitor KPI and productivity analysis against program and budget.
• Demonstrate a personal commitment to the SHE Cultural Framework, policies and Management System requirements.
• Ensure compliance with relevant legal/regulatory requirements and company policies.
