Job summary

CGC Recruitment partners with an established Sydney civil contractor delivering bulk excavation, earthworks, car parks and roads. A Project Engineer is sought to join the Sydney team, working with Project Managers and Foremen across operational and commercial aspects of project delivery.

You will lead planning, QA, OH&S, budgets and coordinating subcontractors to ensure successful delivery of bulk excavation, earthworks and concrete works on a newly awarded project.

Qualifications

• Requires tertiary qualification in Civil Engineering and strong civil construction background.
• Experience managing QA, OH&S and project documentation is essential.
• Proven ability to coordinate subcontractors, suppliers and site personnel.

CGC Recruitment is partnering with an established Sydney-based civil contractor delivering projects across bulk excavation, earthworks, car parks and roads for Tier 1 builders, developers and local government.

Following the award of a new bulk excavation project with a Tier 1 builder, the business is seeking an experienced Project Engineer to join its Sydney team.

The Role

Working alongside experienced Project Managers and Foremen, you will play a key role in project delivery, with responsibility across both operational and commercial aspects of the business.

Key responsibilities include:

• Project planning, coordination and delivery.
• Managing QA, OH&S and project documentation.
• Monitoring budgets, costs and project progress.
• Coordinating subcontractors, suppliers and site personnel.
• Supporting the delivery of bulk earthworks, excavation, concrete and structural works.

About You

• Tertiary qualified in Civil Engineering.
• Minimum five years' experience in civil construction.
• Background in bulk excavation, earthworks, concrete or structures.
• Strong understanding of project delivery, quality and safety.
• Excellent communication and subcontractor management skills.
