Job summary

Webuild S.p.A. is seeking a Civil Project Engineer to join the Ceres Team in Karratha, WA. The role focuses on delivering civil packages for the world-scale Ceres urea project in Western Australia, coordinating from inception to completion, while ensuring safety and quality compliance on site.

The ideal candidate will have a Civil Engineering degree, 5+ years of experience, and strong PM and communication skills, with the ability to work 19:9 or 14:7 on site at Perth-based project locations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
• 5+ years’ experience.
• Experience in an EPC (lump sum) and construction environment highly regarded.
• Experience within oil & gas or ammonia projects highly regarded.
• Excellent project management and organisational skills.
• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to work a 19:9 OR a 14:7 to site.

Responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate civil projects through from inception to completion.
• Conduct site visits and inspections to assess project progress, as well as compliance to safety and quality standards.
• Provide technical guidance and support to the wider team.
• Prepare and review engineering calculations, drawings and specifications.
• Develop project plans and schedules, while monitoring budget and progress.
• Identify and resolve engineering issues as they arise.
• Prepare project reports, documentation, and coordinate information.
• Ensure compliance with Australian standards.

Clough, as part of a joint venture, is delivering the Project Ceres urea plant, a landmark project for Western Australia.
