Job summary

Webuild S.p.A. in Western Australia seeks an experienced Civil Supervisor to lead site activities on the CERES urea project in WA.

Reporting to the Civil Construction Manager, you will oversee day-to-day operations, manage subcontractors, and ensure safety, quality, and timeline adherence. The role requires a strong civils background, excellent communication skills, and a thorough understanding of Australian safety standards and project specifications.

Qualifications

• Must have strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Solid understanding of construction processes and safety standards.
• Experience ensuring compliance with quality control requirements.
• Knowledge of Australian safety standards and regulatory obligations.
• Background as a site supervisor in civils projects is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations on the construction site, ensuring safety and adherence to project specs.
• Manage projects within the self-performed civil scope.
• Supervise and coordinate construction personnel, subcontractors, and suppliers.
• Implement and enforce safety protocols and procedures.
• Monitor work quality, conduct inspections and ensure standards are met.
• Maintain accurate records of progress and daily reports.
• Provide guidance and training to team members.

Civil Supervisor Date: 16 Sept 2026 Location: Perth, Australia Company: Webuild S.p.A. Deliver a sustainable future with WA’s landmark urea project! This role is on a 19:9 OR 14:7 rotation to our Perdaman project in Karratha, WA. Clough, as part of a Joint Venture with Saipem, is delivering the Project ‘CERES’ urea plant, a landmark project for Western Australia. The plant will be the largest in Australia and one of the largest in the world, installing the most sustainable production processes. The project is expected to generate 2,000 jobs during the construction phase, whilst delivering sustained benefits to the local community through career, training and business opportunities. We are currently searching for Civil Supervisor to join our site-based team on Project Ceres. Reporting to the Civil Construction Manager, the candidate will be responsible for overseeing activities on site, ensuring projects are completed safely, efficiently and to the required standards. You will work closely with project managers, engineers and labour teams to ensure compliance with project requirements and timeline.

Key Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering is a bonus.
• Proven experience in a supervisory role within construction, with a background in Civils.
• Excellent communication & interpersonal skills.
• Strong understanding of construction process, safety regulations and quality control standards.
• Excellent understanding of Australian safety standards and compliance.
• 10+ years’ experience in a Supervisory role.
