Parkview Constructions Pty is seeking a skilled Project Engineer to join our team in Sydney. You will oversee quality management, ensure design intent is delivered, and align every technical detail with our high standards on complex builds.

You will coordinate between clients, consultants and subcontractors, manage design teams, and drive solutions to site challenges across high-profile projects in the city. A strong background in quality, design for structures and services is essential.

Qualifications

• Degree in Construction Management, Engineering or related field.
• 6+ years of experience in a similar engineering role.
• Strong understanding of quality and design for structures, services, finishes and facades.
• Proven experience on large-scale ($40M+) high-rise residential projects.
• Familiarity with Sydney's construction market, subcontractors and consultants.
• Proactive problem-solving, clear communication and collaborative approach.

Responsibilities

• Establish, maintain and monitor project quality standards and procedures.
• Coordinate designs between clients, consultants and subcontractors.
• Review subcontractor quality documentation and checklists for compliance.
• Review quality of subcontract works on site and liaise with the project team.
• Check commissioning and testing in regard to services inclusions.
• Facilitate resolution of design and coordination issues among client, consultant and subcontractors.
• Manage flow of technical information between design disciplines and stakeholders.
• Oversee design team to align works with programme and design documentation.
• Review consultant and subcontractor outputs for design brief compliance.
• Check tender package content for scope, materials and design logic.

The Opportunity

We’re looking for a skilled Project Engineer to join our team. In this role, you’ll be at the heart of our projects – ensuring quality standards are met, design intent is delivered, and every technical detail aligns with our high standards.

You’ll oversee quality management from start to finish, coordinate designs between clients, consultants, and subcontractors, and help solve the challenges that inevitably pop up in complex builds.

Key Responsibilities

• Establish, maintain and monitor project quality standards and procedures
• Identify issues with the project, lead the development and implementation of solutions
• Review subcontractor quality documentation and checklists to ensure compliance
• Review quality of subcontract works on site and liaise with the project team
• Review and check commissioning and testing in regard to appropriate services description and inclusions
• Act as facilitator to resolve design and co-ordination issues that arise between client, consultant and subcontract elements
• Manage the flow of technical information between the design disciplines and internal and external stakeholders
• Manage the design team to ensure that works proceed in line with the target programme and the design documentation programme
• Review consultant and subcontractor output for compliance with the design brief
• Check tender package content for scope of work, product usage and design logic are carried out – where applicable.
• Provide technical support and assistance to all members of the project team

What We’re Looking For
