Job summary

Allied Construction Services in New South Wales seeks an experienced Project Engineer to lead engineering activities across the Snowy Hydro 2.0 project, ensuring safe, on-time delivery within budget and quality standards.

You will coordinate planning, procurement, and site activities, manage stakeholders, and build strong relationships with clients while upholding health, safety and quality.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in civil or structural engineering, construction engineering, or related discipline.
  • Significant experience in a Project Engineer or similar role within the construction industry.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Excellent planning, organisational, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Sound understanding of construction methodologies, contracts, and project management principles.
  • Commitment to workplace health, safety, and quality.

Responsibilities

  • Support project planning, programming, procurement, and delivery.
  • Monitor project progress, costs, and quality outcomes.
  • Coordinate subcontractors, consultants, suppliers, and site teams.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant legislation, standards, and company procedures.
  • Prepare and review technical documentation, reports, and project schedules.
  • Foster strong relationships with clients and key stakeholders.
  • Build work packs in line with quality control requirements.

Allied Construction Services is a highly regarded, privately owned company delivering diverse turnkey solutions across the Infrastructure, Construction, Mining, and Ports sectors. We work collaboratively with key stakeholders from Early Contractor Involvement (ECI) through to detailed design, ensuring optimal outcomes on complex, high-profile projects.

Due to continued growth within our Construction Services division, we are seeking an experienced and motivated Project Engineer with a broad background in Construction to join our team.

This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in the successful delivery of large-scale Snowy Hydro 2.0 construction project while working alongside a highly skilled and collaborative team.

About the Role

As a Project Engineer, you will be responsible for coordinating and managing engineering activities throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
