Position Overview:

I am recruiting for a strong Project Engineer with a proven utilities background, preferably with a strong skillset in drainage for an immediate start on a project local to Brisbane. This includes:

• Managing and monitoring the completion of the project to ensure programme, budget, quality, environmental and contractual obligations are achieved safely, taking prompt corrective action where required
• Reviewing design and construction plans, schedules, temporary works designs, method statements and job safety analysis
• Effectively assigning tasks to project team members to deliver the required outputs to agreed specifications
• Monitoring KPIs and productivity analysis against programme and budget as well as undertaking other administrative duties as required
• Mentoring Site and Graduate Engineers

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering, or related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in Civil construction, preferably in utilities projects.
• Strong understanding of plant and machinery
• Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to effectively manage a multidisciplinary team.
• Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office suite.
• Experience in coordinating with local authorities and stakeholders for project approvals and permits.
