Job summary

Interflow in Bendigo is seeking a motivated Project Engineer to plan and schedule construction activities, monitor progress and resolve issues. You will supervise resources, coordinate personnel and equipment, and provide financial planning and reporting input while maintaining knowledge of allocated contracts.

Reporting to the Project Manager, you will join a team including Project Coordinators, Supervisors and Field Crew.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Civil or Mechanical) or Construction Management or equivalent.
• Experience in managing construction-based projects.
• Strong technical skills and problem solving ability.
• Exposure to rail/road culverts, wastewater, stormwater or potable water networks is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Plan and schedule construction activities to meet project milestones.
• Monitor project progress and resolve on-site problems.

The Opportunity

We currently have an opportunity for an amotivated Project Engineer to join our team. With your expertise, you will plan and schedule construction activities, monitor project progress and resolve problems. Your strength lies in supervising and coordinating resources including personnel (both internal and contractors), equipment and materials. You will also provide financial assessments and information that deliver on planning, budgeting & reporting activities and also maintain detailed knowledge of allocated contracts.

Reporting to the Project Manager, the position is further supported by our talented team of people including Project Coordinators, Supervisors and Field Crew. This role is based out of our office in Bendigo.

You will bring:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Civil or Mechanical), Construction Management or equivalent
• Previous experience in managing construction based projects
• Exceptional technical skills and problem solving ability
• Exposure to rail/road culverts, wastewater, stormwater and/or potable water networks is beneficial to the role
