Job summary

Health Infrastructure is seeking a Project Director, Commercial Advisory to provide expert commercial guidance for major health infrastructure projects across NSW. You will lead high-level negotiations, align diverse stakeholders and identify risks to keep initiatives on track.

This is a unique opportunity to play a key role in shaping major health infrastructure projects across NSW. As Project Director, Commercial Advisory, you will provide expert commercial guidance that supports effective decision-making, strengthens stakeholder relationships, and ensures projects deliver maximum value for communities.

You will lead high level negotiations, drive strategic alignment across diverse stakeholders, and communicate complex concepts with clarity and influence. A key part of the role is identifying and managing project risks, offering accurate, timely advice to project teams, LHDs and the Ministry of Health to keep initiatives on track.

You’ll also champion business improvement, helping enhance governance, streamline processes and uplift the effectiveness of HI’s Commercial team. Working collaboratively across HI and NSW Government, you’ll contribute to innovative, sustainable solutions that support high‑quality health services for the people of NSW.

This is a fixed term full‑time opportunity for a period of 12 months. Remuneration will be determined with the successful candidate.

Please note that as Health Infrastructure is an organisation of NSW Health, the successful applicant must reside in NSW or be willing to relocate if appointed.

This recruitment may be used to appoint to similar future roles (ongoing or temporary), or to create a Talent Pool for roles that may arise over the next 18 months.
