Job summary

A leading civil infrastructure contractor is seeking a skilled Project Director to lead major civil infrastructure projects in Perth, Australia. The role involves responsibility for all aspects of construction, including project planning, team management, and ensuring compliance with industry standards. Ideal candidates will have a Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field and proven experience in large-scale projects, particularly in the Defence sector. Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a Construction Project Director on large-scale infrastructure projects.
  • Successful Alliance and/or Managing Contractor form of contract delivery.
  • Defence sector experience preferred.
  • Demonstrated high commercial acumen, leadership, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work with internal and external clients and manage relationships; knowledge of construction laws and best practices.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage all aspects of construction projects from inception to completion.
  • Develop project plans, schedules, and budgets for timely delivery.
  • Manage project teams, subcontractors, and stakeholders.
  • Monitor and report on project progress, risks, and issues.

We are seeking a suitably experienced Project Director to spearhead up and coming major civil infrastructure projects based in Perth. What will you be responsible for?
  • Lead and manage all aspects of construction projects from inception to completion.
  • Develop project plans, schedules, and budgets to ensure timely and within-budget delivery.
  • Manage project teams, subcontractors, and stakeholders to ensure successful project outcomes.
  • Monitor and report on project progress, risks, and issues to senior management.
  • Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and environmental standards throughout the project lifecycle.
