Job summary

Fulton Hogan Ltd in Australia is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead end-to-end delivery of water and wastewater infrastructure projects within a major program of works for the City. You will drive milestones, manage multi-disciplinary teams, and foster strong client and supplier relationships to ensure safe, high-quality outcomes.

Applicants should have 5+ years in project management, Civil/Structural engineering qualifications, and solid knowledge of construction management,

Qualifications

  • Tertiary Civil and/or Structural Engineering qualifications.
  • 5+ years’ experience in a Project Management position.
  • Experience on water infrastructure construction projects is preferred.
  • Knowledge of project construction management, financial management, forecasting, procurement, design and contracts management functions.
  • Strong computer literacy.

Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end delivery of water and wastewater infrastructure projects within the program of works, including major treatment plant upgrades, pump stations, and pipeline projects.
  • Drive project execution to achieve delivery milestones, program commitments, and client outcomes across multiple concurrent works.
  • Provide leadership, support, and development to project teams through regular feedback, recognition of success, and a strong focus on capability building.
  • Manage relationships effectively and professionally with clients, consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Apply robust project production controls to monitor performance, forecast completion metrics accurately, and support timely internal and external reporting.
  • Drive high-quality delivery outcomes across safety, quality, cost, and program, ensuring works are completed to both Fulton Hogan and client expectations.

In this role you'll be responsible for:

How you’ll connect to the role:
  • Relevant Tertiary Civil and/or Structural Engineering Qualifications
  • 5+ years’ experience in Project Management position
  • Experience on construction projects in water infrastructure, Pipelines and Water or Wastewater Treatment Plants (preferred)
  • Knowledge of project construction management, financial management, forecasting, procurement, design and contracts management functions
  • Strong computer literacy and demonstrated competence in a variety of computer software packages
  • Adopting and driving Fulton Hogan’s Living Safely 2.0 Culture.
