Mildura Rural City Council is seeking a motivated Cover Truck Operator / Plant Operator based at the Red Cliffs Depot to help maintain and improve the local road network. You will operate an aggregate spreader truck and support spray sealing operations alongside other road works.

The role is full-time within Band 3 of the Enterprise Agreement, offering a salary of around $72,066 per annum plus superannuation, with a range reflecting experience and performance.

Qualificações

• Hold a current Heavy Combination Truck Licence.
• Ability to operate plant/equipment used in civil construction or road maintenance.
• Traffic Controllers – Statement of Attainment.
• Level 2 First Aid Certificate or willingness to obtain.
• Construction Induction Card accredited by Work Safe Victoria.

About the Opportunity

Come join our team in a hands-on role helping maintain and improve our local road network! Based at the Red Cliffs Depot, you’ll operate an aggregate spreader truck as part of Council’s spray sealing operations, while supporting a variety of road construction, maintenance and roadside works. You’ll also assist with operating plant and equipment safely and efficiently while contributing to quality outcomes for our community.

What you will bring

• Hold a current Heavy Combination Truck Licence
• Ability to operate items of plant and equipment associated with civil construction or road maintenance works.
• Traffic Controllers – Statement of Attainment
• Hold a current Level 2 First Aid Certificate or willingness to obtain
• Hold a current Construction Induction Card accredited by Work Safe Victoria

Salary and conditions

The position is classified within Band 3 of Council’s Current Enterprise Agreement commencing at $72,066 per annum including industry allowance, maintenance allowance plus statutory superannuation.
