Job summary

Linkforce is seeking a Cost Controller to join our Projects Controls Team at our CBD Head Office in Perth. You will manage cost budgets, invoicing, and forecasts across multiple projects in mining, infrastructure, energy, and defence sectors.

The role requires a finance/accounting/engineering qualification with post-graduate cost control experience and strong skills in ERP and reporting tools (Pronto, Power BI, Tableau). A client-focused approach and meticulous attention to detail are essential.

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualification in finance/accounting, engineering, project management, or related discipline
• Post-graduate experience in a cost controller or similar role
• Understanding and application of project cost management principles
• Demonstrated ability to maintain quality and attention to detail when working to deadlines in a fast paced and changing environment
• High levels of computer literacy including ERP and reporting systems like Pronto, Power BI, Tableau, and Microsoft Office suite
• Experience working for a construction contractor in the mining/resources industry is highly desirable

Responsibilities

• Setting up and maintaining cost budgets for projects based on tender estimates
• Preparation of internal and client invoicing and supporting documentation
• Maintain all cost commitments, including review of internal and third-party costs
• Prepare monthly project cost and revenue forecasts and assist in producing monthly Contract Status Reports
• Provide cost control support and assistance, including project close out and lessons learnt
• Input client variations and maintain current contract value and budgets
• Review of requisitions and commitments for compliance to project cost coding
• Prepare consolidated project invoicing forecasts
• Assist with office and site timekeeping systems and reporting
