Job summary

Verbrec is seeking a Project Controller based in our Adelaide CBD office to oversee project planning, budgeting and reporting. You will work closely with Project Managers and Engineers to implement robust project management methodologies aligned with client expectations and business needs.

You will join a motivated, high-performing team across Australia and New Zealand. The role focuses on cost control, invoicing, variations tracking and continuous improvement of controls, with a strong emphasis

Qualifications

• Strong commercial experience in a Project Delivery environment (engineering & design).
• Ability to learn and adapt software to project/business needs.
• Proficient with MS Excel and Word; data manipulation skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the business’ Project Management systems, tools and procedures.
• Support Project Managers with project set-up, budget allocation, resourcing and change control.
• Undertake project invoicing in consultation with Project Managers.
• Track variations, purchase orders, invoices and project expenditure for cost control.
• Provide regular and accurate reports to Project Managers, the Operations Lead and stakeholders.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of project controls processes and tools.
