Core Lithium is seeking a Project Cost Controller for the BP33 underground build at Finnis, based in Perth CBD with travel to Finnis. You will own the BP33 cost position from approved budget through to forecast at completion, ensuring cost risks are visible and commercial decisions are underpinned by robust numbers.
You will reconcile cost codes, manage accruals, run monthly forecasts, maintain ETC/EAC by cost code, and produce timely cost reports with clear variance commentary.
Perth CBD, with travel to Finnis | Monday to Friday | Maximum term to 31 December 2027
Most cost control roles hand you a reporting pack to maintain. This one hands you a project to own.
Core Lithium has taken Finnis from care and maintenance back to production in a matter of months. With the restart fully funded and first concentrate produced, our small Perth team is building the systems and disciplines of an ASX-listed producer.
The biggest piece of that is BP33, a new underground mine that will carry Finnis for more than a decade. Develop mobilised in June, the portal is cut and the decline is advancing toward first ore in mid-2027. You'll sit within Finance, dedicated to BP33, working day to day with the Project Director and project controls so cost and physical progress are read together.
Reporting to the Head of Finance, you'll own the BP33 cost position from approved budget through to forecast at completion, so cost risks are seen early and commercial decisions rest on sound numbers.
If you spot the miscoded invoice before anyone else, and would rather have an awkward conversation about a forecast now than a surprise at completion, you'll fit right in.
Core Lithium (ASX: CXO) owns the Finnis Lithium Operation in the Northern Territory, an established mine and processing plant 88 km from Darwin Port on more than 500 km² of tenure in the Bynoe Pegmatite Field. Finnis is ramping up toward 1.2 million tonnes a year by mid-2028, producing spodumene concentrate for the global battery supply chain. We're a lean producer: short lines to decision makers and work that shows.
