Kapitol is seeking a Project Coordinator to join our Melbourne CBD Head Office and support multiple live projects across commercial, residential, education and data-centre portfolios. You'll partner with Project Managers, Assistant Project Managers, Design Managers, subcontractors and teams to improve design coordination, strengthen delivery outcomes and embed best-practice processes across the business.

Responsibilities

• Proactively review project design, coordination and delivery risks.
• Support the implementation of standardised package delivery processes across the business.
• Work closely with project teams to improve coordination outcomes from design through to delivery.
• Assist in developing and maintaining package-specific checklists, programmes and delivery systems.
• Capture lessons learned and help embed continuous improvement initiatives across projects.
• Build strong working relationships with Project Managers, Design Managers, subcontractors and project teams.
• Contribute to the ongoing development of Kapitol's coordination frameworks, systems and delivery standards.
• Support multiple projects concurrently while maintaining a high level of stakeholder engagement.

About the Role

Based in our Melbourne CBD Head Office, you'll join a growing team responsible for improving coordination outcomes across Kapitol's portfolio of commercial, residential, education and data centre projects.

Unlike a traditional Project Coordinator role, you'll work across multiple projects and project teams rather than being dedicated to a single site or project. You'll partner with Project Managers, Assistant Project Managers, Design Managers, subcontractors and project teams to improve design coordination, strengthen delivery outcomes and help embed best-practice processes across the business.

This is an ideal opportunity for a Project Coordinator or Senior Project Coordinator looking to broaden their experience beyond a single project environment and gain exposure to project delivery at a portfolio level.

Key Responsibilities;

About You

We're looking for Project Coordinators and Senior Project Coordinators with experience delivering projects for a commercial builder, Tier 1 or Tier 2 head contractor.

You may currently be supporting the delivery of commercial, residential, education, mixed‑use or data centre projects and are looking for an opportunity that offers broader exposure, greater influence and genuine career development.

You’ll likely bring;

• Proven Project Coordinator or Senior Project Coordinator experience with a commercial builder, Tier 1 or Tier 2 head contractor.
• Strong design coordination, stakeholder management and project delivery experience.
• The ability to influence outcomes across consultants, subcontractors and project teams.
• A proactive mindset with a focus on problem solving, risk identification and continuous improvement.
• Exceptional communication skills and the ability to build trusted relationships across all levels of a project team.
• A passion for improving the way projects are planned, coordinated and delivered.
