Job summary

JT Glass Brisbane is seeking a proactive Project Coordinator to support aluminium window and door projects from start to finish. You will liaise with project management, estimating, production, and installation teams and communicate with builders and site crews.

Qualifications

• Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident – mandatory.
• Fluent English and Chinese communication – mandatory.
• Experience in aluminium window/door fabrication or glazing preferred.
• Full-time availability; willingness to travel interstate.
• TAFE qualification or Bachelor’s degree in construction-related field.
• Valid Australian driver’s license preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist Project Managers with day-to-day coordination of aluminium window and door projects.
• Coordinate between estimating, design, production, logistics, and installation teams.
• Communicate with builders, site managers, suppliers, installers and other project stakeholders.
• Assist with project schedules, documentation, progress tracking, and reporting.
• Coordinate site requirements, deliveries, installation activities, and project-related information.
• Assist with tracking project variations, defects, and outstanding items.
• Attend site inspections and project meetings as required.
• Support interstate projects and travel as required.
• Maintain clear and accurate project records and ensure effective communication throughout the project lifecycle.

With an established presence in Brisbane, we specialise in delivering end-to-end window and glazing solutions for commercial and residential projects.

As our business continues to grow, we are looking for a motivated and organised Project Coordinator to join our team and support the successful delivery of aluminium window and door projects across Australia.

The Opportunity

This is a full-time coordination role supporting the delivery of aluminium window and door projects from project commencement through to completion.

You will work closely with our Project Management, Estimating, Production, and Installation teams, while also communicating with builders, site teams, suppliers, and other stakeholders.

The role may involve interstate travel to support projects, site coordination, inspections, and project meetings as required.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist Project Managers with the day-to-day coordination of aluminium window and door projects
• Coordinate between internal teams, including estimating, design, production, logistics, and installation
• Communicate with builders, site managers, suppliers, installers, and other project stakeholders
• Assist with project schedules, documentation, progress tracking, and reporting
• Coordinate site requirements, deliveries, installation activities, and project-related information
• Assist with tracking project variations, defects, and outstanding items
• Attend site inspections and project meetings when required
• Support interstate projects and travel as required
• Maintain clear and accurate project records and ensure effective communication throughout the project lifecycle

What We're Looking For

• Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident – mandatory
• Fluent communication skills in both English and Chinese – mandatory
• Previous experience in aluminium window and door fabrication, installation, glazing, façade, or a related construction field is highly preferred
• Strong communication, coordination, and organisational skills
• Ability to work effectively with both office-based and site-based teams
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and project priorities simultaneously
• Full-time work availability
• Willingness and availability to travel interstate when required
• TAFE qualification or Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in Construction, Engineering, Architecture, Project Management, or a related discipline
• Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving
• Valid Australian driver’s licence is preferred
