Job summary

Auto & General Australia is seeking a Project Coordinator to support the Claims & Assessing teams in managing change initiatives using project and change management principles, while delivering exceptional service to internal customers.

You will work with Project Managers to prepare comprehensive action plans, including resources, timeframes and benefits, and perform coordinating tasks such as scheduling, risk management, and document control.

Qualifications

  • Insurance industry experience is desirable.
  • Experience in a project coordination role is desirable.
  • Team player with ability to drive project deliverables and outcomes.
  • Planning and analysis experience.
  • Bias for problem-solving and sense of urgency.
  • Good communication and verbal skills.
  • Accuracy, attention to detail and highly organised.
  • Understanding of legislative, regulatory and compliance obligations to operate in the FSR environment.

The role

Reporting to the Change Delivery Manager, the Project Coordinator will support the Claims & Assessing teams through the management of change initiatives utilising project and change management principles, as well as providing advice and support.

Brief Description

Reporting to the Change Delivery Manager, the Project Coordinator will support the Claims & Assessing teams through the management of change initiatives utilising project and change management principles, as well as providing advice and support. This should all be done whilst ensuring they maintain a focus on delivering exceptional service to our internal customers. Project Coordinator responsibilities include working closely with Project Managers to prepare comprehensive action plans, including resources, timeframes, and benefits for projects. You will perform various coordinating tasks, like schedule and risk management, along with administrative duties, such as maintaining project documentation, minutes and action notes from project meetings. This is an entry-level role that will be suitable for someone pursuing a career path to Project Management and Initiative Delivery.
