Job description

Location: Sunwater Brisbane City, Queensland, Australia

Join Sunwater as a Project Controls Specialist, where you’ll play a vital role in developing and maintaining comprehensive project schedules including resource-loaded activities, critical path methodology, and logically linked tasks. You will track, monitor, measure and report on the progress of the project using Earned Value Analysis techniques.

Responsibilities

• Implement and oversee project controls processes such as change management procedures to manage project scope, schedule, and costs effectively.
• Identify and report on potential cost and schedule risks, opportunities, and mitigation strategies to assist the project in effectively managing cost and schedule risk.
• Coordinate and collaborate with internal stakeholders and project team members to proactively obtain accurate and timeline information on project status and performance metrics.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in project controls and a proven track record in driving successful project delivery.
• P3M expertise: Experience in designing, implementing, and maintaining P3M tools and templates to maximise value and ensure project excellence.
• Strategic vision: Ability to design and deliver project, program, portfolio improvement strategies and programs.
• Communication skills: Excellent communication skills with a knack for writing and presenting quality reports and findings to senior leadership, including the Board and executive leadership team.
