We are seeking a dynamic Commercial Advisory Manager to lead the negotiation of diverse commercial contracts tied to existing assets or associated with new projects and infrastructure. In this role, you’ll ensure that every new arrangement aligns seamlessly with Sunwater’s commercial principles while honouring existing customer commitments.

As a valued member of the Customer and Commercial Team, you will play a key role in delivering leadership across commercial advisory and management. This includes supporting urban, industrial, and non‑irrigation customers. Together, we make sound commercial decisions that generate value for our customers and shareholders while strengthening organisational performance.

Other key responsibilities include:

  • Build and sustain strong customer relationships to ensure smooth transitions from project development to ongoing operations.
  • Manage contractual obligations by overseeing customer contracts, key dates, and compliance with processes.
  • Lead contract negotiations and administration to deliver sustainable business growth and support commercial decision‑making.
  • Drive commercial strategy and business development by providing insights, analysing revenue and risk impacts, and exploring new opportunities.

We are seeking an experienced leader with 10+ years experience negotiating commercial contracts with large counterparties. You will have a degree in commerce, economics, law or finance or equivalent experience. In addition, you will have:

  • Strategic Growth Leadership – Demonstrates the ability to identify, evaluate, and pursue new market opportunities that align with organisational objectives and deliver sustainable revenue growth.
  • Commercial Acumen – Applies sound financial, analytical, and negotiation skills to structure deals, manage risk, and maximise value creation for both the organisation and its customers.
  • Customer & Stakeholder Engagement – Builds and maintains trusted relationships with clients, partners, and stakeholders to drive collaboration, secure long‑term contracts, and enhance customer satisfaction.

This full‑time permanent opportunity is available for an immediate start (or in the New Year).
