Job summary
APA is seeking a Project Controls Specialist to join the Commercial Delivery team in Brisbane CBD on a full-time basis until October 2028. You will lead cost control, forecasting, EVM and performance reporting across major capital projects, collaborating with Project Managers and Finance to drive governance and data-driven decisions.
Advanced PRISM experience, Power BI and Excel skills are essential, with strong stakeholder engagement to improve reporting and processes.
Qualifications
- Tertiary qualification in a relevant discipline.
- Experience in project controls, cost controls or performance reporting in energy/infrastructure.
- Advanced experience with PRISM for cost control, forecasting and reporting.
- Strong EVM skills including CPI, SPI, EAC and progress measurement.
- Ability to integrate cost and schedule data and report to stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Lead project controls across a portfolio of capital projects.
- Manage cost control, forecasting and EVM analyses.
- Develop standards, governance and reporting frameworks.
- Establish WBS, control accounts and baselines within PRISM.
- Lead monthly project controls reporting with KPI and EVA metrics.
- Enhance dashboards and analytics with Power BI and automation.
