Job summary

Assystem is seeking an experienced Consultant in Perth to support multi-project delivery across sectors, focusing on project planning, controls and reporting. You will work on schedules, costs, risks and client training, while helping expand Assystem’s services.

Candidates should have 3+ years in project environments, strong IT skills, and adaptability to high-pressure settings. Australian citizenship or security clearances may be required.

Qualifications

• 3+ years project experience in a consultancy or defence/regulated environment.
• Strong understanding of project planning and controls.
• High IT skills with planning/cost/risk software proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain project schedules, cost controls, risk management and reporting.
• Interrogate schedules and costs, provide proactive solutions.
• Develop project controls systems and train clients in reports.
• Maintain project reporting requirements and ensure high performance.
• Support clients and expand Assystem services where needed.

Job Description

Life as a Assystem Consultant:

• The ability to work across multiple sectors and on multiple projects, to increase your experience and capability over time
• Develop and maintain project schedules/cost controls/risk management/reporting
• Perform analysis and interrogation on schedules/cost
• Develop Project Controls systems and train clients in the use of the reports
• Maintain project reporting requirements
• Ensure that performance is both positive and proactive and that you provide a high impact service – we fix problems quickly, without fuss
• Support clients and offer further Assystem support wherever they need it in the delivery of their project

Business Development

• Actively identifying opportunities that will help develop Assystem’s network & services
• Attending / participating in Assystem knowledge sharing & networking events
• Providing market research to sector leads

Assystem Spirit

• Participating in team meetings & internal social events

• Enrolling on internal training courses and taking an active role in your professional development – help us help you!

Must Haves:

• 3+ years project experience
• Good understanding of the benefits and application of project planning and project controls
• High level of IT skills and experience using planning/cost/risk software e.g. Primavera P6, Prism, ARM
• Ability to work in a high-pressure environment
• Reliable and adaptable to change
• Displays a positive can-do attitude and behaviour
