Job summary

Leidos Australia is seeking a proactive Project Coordinator to support governance, reporting and delivery coordination across Defence, Intelligence and government programs. Your work will help improve the quality, consistency and usability of project information, enabling leaders to make informed decisions.

You will administer SharePoint sites, develop Power BI dashboards and data sources, and collaborate with project managers, technical leads and stakeholders to streamline workflows using

Qualifications

  • Experience in project coordination, administration, PMO support in complex projects.
  • Proficient with PMO controls, governance, risk and issue management, document control.
  • Strong MS 365 suite skills: SharePoint, Power Automate, Power Apps, Lists, Teams, Excel.
  • Experience delivering Defence, federal government, ICT or systems integration projects; agile/waterfall/hybrid.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate project meetings, actions, risks, issues, decisions, and documentation control.
  • Support client tenders, governance processes, and recruitment in partnership with leadership.
  • Develop reporting requirements with project managers and deliver practical information management solutions.
  • Administer and maintain SharePoint sites and project information structures.
  • Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards and data sources for project insights.
  • Streamline workflows and reporting using Microsoft 365 tools ensuring data accuracy.
  • Maintain governance artefacts and improve productivity via SharePoint, automation and reporting.

About the Team

The Mission Software Solutions business delivers customized and off-the-shelf software solutions to Defence, Intelligence and other Government sectors. The business also builds capabilities that can be used for a wide range of applications in both traditional and non-traditional environments; providing leadership in the advancement of technological modernisation of complex enterprises within Government.

The Opportunity

As a Project Coordinator, you will support the project team across governance, reporting, administration and delivery coordination. Your work will help improve the quality, consistency and usability of project information, enabling leaders and teams to make informed decisions.

This is 12-months maximum term role with potential opportunities for further extensions.

Key responsibilities include:

Coordinate project meetings, actions, risks, issues, decisions, registers, status reporting, and document control.

Support client tender responses, governance processes, and project team recruitment in partnership with project leadership.

Work with project managers, technical leads, and stakeholders to identify reporting requirements and deliver practical information management solutions.

Administer and maintain SharePoint sites, document libraries, permissions, metadata, and project information structures.

Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards, reporting outputs, and supporting data sources to provide project insights.

Streamline workflows, approvals, notifications, and reporting using Microsoft 365 tools while ensuring the accuracy of project data and registers.

Maintain project governance artefacts and identify opportunities to improve productivity through enhanced SharePoint, automation, and reporting processes.

About You

Experience in project coordination, administration, PMO support, and delivery support within complex project environments.

Strong capability administering SharePoint and using Microsoft 365 tools (including Power Automate, Power Apps, Microsoft Lists, Teams, and advanced Excel) to improve workflows and processes.

Experience developing dashboards, reporting packs, and data visualisations using Power BI or similar tools, while maintaining accurate project data, registers, and documentation.

Knowledge of PMO controls, project governance, risk and issue management, document control, and knowledge management practices.

Ability to work independently, coordinate across multiple stakeholders, and communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences. Experience supporting Defence, federal government, ICT, or systems integration projects, with exposure to Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid delivery methodologies.

This role requires the successful applicant to be an Australian citizen and hold TSPV security clearance with the ability to be successful for a DISA.
