Job description

Make it yours

Experience the excitement of building your project and commercial administration career in an evolving construction company where people and performance make amazing things happen.

Join a growing energy and infrastructure business where you'll work closely with project and commercial teams, supporting the systems and processes that keep our projects running smoothly.

Who We Are

We're Searo, a self-performing, multi-disciplinary electrical contractor, delivering smart, dynamic solutions across renewable energy and infrastructure. We’re designing high-performance energy systems that revolutionise how businesses and communities think about power.

Partnering with Symal, a national construction group, we’re redefining energy, together.

The role

We're looking for an organised and detail-focused Administrator to join our Commercial team and provide hands‑on support across Searo's project portfolio.

Working closely with Project Managers, site teams, Finance and Procurement, you'll support the day-to-day commercial and project administration that underpins successful project delivery. From purchase orders and invoices through to subcontract claims, project documentation and month-end reporting, you'll help ensure information is accurate, current and processed on time.

This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working across different teams, building strong relationships and taking ownership of the detail in a fast-moving project environment.

Your everyday
  • Manage project administration including dockets, purchase orders, invoices and supporting documentation.
  • Support subcontractor administration and claims, including agreements, payment schedules, compliance documentation and security releases.
  • Assist project teams with progress claims, month-end reporting, accruals, Cost to Complete schedules and project cost information.
  • Maintain accurate project records across Jobpac, SharePoint, Payapps and internal systems.
  • Provide general operational support including project reporting, meeting minutes, travel coordination and O&M documentation.
Who are you?
  • A highly organised administrator with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage competing priorities.
  • Confident working with project teams, suppliers, subcontractors and internal stakeholders.
  • Comfortable working with purchase orders, invoices and basic accounts payable processes.
  • Intermediate Microsoft Office skills and confidence learning new systems.
  • Strong time management, planning and communication skills.
  • Experience with Jobpac, SharePoint, Payapps or similar systems will be highly regarded.
  • Previous construction, electrical, energy or project administration experience is advantageous but not essential.
