Job description

At GGC, we're delivering some of Australia's most significant renewable energy and power infrastructure projects, including high-voltage substations, BESS, wind farms and utility-scale energy developments.

The Role

Due to sustained portfolio growth, we are looking for a Project Administrator to join our project delivery team. In this role, you will be the commercial and administrative linchpin of our operations, bridging the gap between site activities, project managers, and finance to ensure our energy assets are delivered with financial discipline and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities
  • AP & AR: Oversee end-to-end project AP/AR—processing high-volume progress claims, validating subcontractor invoices against purchase orders, and coordinating client billings.
  • Supplier & Financial Management: Serve as the primary administrative contact for our supply chain, vetting new suppliers, resolving payment queries, and maintaining strong commercial partnerships.
  • ERP & Financial Systems: Ensure optimal use of the ERP system for business performance and provide system support.
  • Reporting & Compliance: Collaborate with Project Managers and Commercial Leads during month-end to report on project spend, accruals, committed costs, and budget variances.
  • General & Ad Hoc Tasks: Support system upgrades, contribute to financial projects, and execute additional administrative duties to support other teams when required.
Skills and Knowledge
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Ability to prioritise tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • High level of discretion when handling financial data.
  • High proficiency in SAP systems and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
  • Familiarity with procurement software and expense tracking platforms.
Qualifications and Experience
  • Education: Qualification in Business, Accounting, or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years in Accounts Payable/Receivable processing.
  • Technical Skills: Experience managing financial transactions, vendor relations, and compliance reporting.
Why Join Us?
  • Work on major renewable energy, BESS, wind farm and utility-scale infrastructure projects.
  • Exposure across the full project lifecycle from concept and tender through to commissioning.
  • Opportunity to work alongside highly experienced industry leaders.
  • Collaborative, agile and growing organisation where your contribution genuinely matters.
  • Competitive remuneration and career growth opportunities.
