Job summary

BMD Group in Brisbane is seeking an experienced Project Accountant to join the Queensland team, supporting an infrastructure project on the Sunshine Coast. You will partner with the Project Manager and project team to deliver financial and commercial guidance that underpins successful delivery.

You will manage cost coding, accruals, month-end reporting, forecasts and budgeting while assisting progress claims, invoicing and cash flow management.

Qualifications

• Experience in project accounting, management accounting or commercial finance.
• Strong financial modelling and advanced Excel skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management capabilities.
• Strong commercial acumen and analytical skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively while managing competing priorities.
• Degree in Finance, Commerce, Accounting, Property Economics or related discipline.

We are seeking an experienced Project Accountant to join our Queensland team. This Brisbane-based role will support the delivery of an infrastructure project on the Sunshine Coast.

Working closely with the Project Manager and wider project team, you will provide financial and commercial support to ensure the successful delivery of the project. This role offers the opportunity to partner with operational leaders, influence commercial outcomes, and play a key role in project performance.

Key Responsibilities
