Job summary

Randstad Digital Australia is seeking a hands-on integration lead for a 6-month contract in Melbourne CBD. You will architect and build integrations, primarily using Mulesoft and Workday/HRIS, while mentoring a small team as the program matures.

You will own the technical delivery plan, engage with stakeholders, and ensure quality standards across delivery teams in a hybrid setup (3 days on-site, 2 days WFH).

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience across full delivery lifecycle in integration projects.
• Strong Mulesoft design and development skills; Workday/HRIS integration preferred.
• Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage vendor relationships.

Responsibilities

• Design and build complex, secure integrated solutions, with Mulesoft and Workday/HRIS integration work at the core.
• Hands-on design, development and problem-solving to keep delivery moving.
• Own the technical delivery plan, defining scope, sequencing, milestones and dependencies.
• Lead cross-functional technical teams (including vendor teams) from solution design through to release.
• Set and enforce technical standards and quality across delivery teams.
• Plan and oversee non-production environment setup, cutover planning and go-live readiness.
• Build and maintain stakeholder relationships, translating technical concepts for non-technical audiences.
• Develop post-launch support and transition plans, including knowledge transfer to operational teams.

6 Month Contract (Daily Rate) | Melbourne CBD | Hybrid - 3 Days On-Site

This is a hands-on integration lead role, (not a project management role), on a newly funded, multi-year program for a large, complex Australian organisation. You'll be architecting and building integrations from day one, with the role growing into leading a small integration team over your first six months.

What you'll be doing

• Design and build complex, secure integrated solutions, with Mulesoft and Workday/HRIS integration work at the core
• Get hands-on with design, development and problem-solving to keep delivery moving

What we're looking for

• Strong hands-on software development background across the full delivery lifecycle
• Experience designing and building complex, secure integrated solutions, Mulesoft essential
• Workday or other HRIS integration experience highly regarded
• Background in complex, multi-stakeholder enterprise environments highly regarded
• Excellent stakeholder engagement skills, confident translating between business and technical language
• Proven ability to plan and lead technical delivery across complex, multi-workstream projects
• Experience managing vendor or partner relationships in a delivery context
• Comfortable working across both waterfall and agile methodologies

• 6 month contract on a daily rate, part of a broader 3 year program of work
• Based in Melbourne CBD
• Hybrid working: 3 days on-site, 2 days WFH
• A valid Victorian Working with Children Check will be required for this role.
