Job summary

The Department of Health Victoria in Melbourne is seeking a Program Manager, National Programs (Blood and Pharmaceuticals) to lead policy development and program management for national blood and pharmaceutical portfolios.

You will engage with sector stakeholders, represent the department in interjurisdictional forums and advise executives and the Minister on intergovernmental matters. Strong governance and risk management focus will drive program success.

Qualifications

• Experience in health policy and program management within government or complex service systems.
• Knowledge of ministerial and executive processes is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Manages delivery of programs including service delivery models aligned to objectives.
• Leads implementation of priority projects across multiple initiatives and teams.
• Develops policy frameworks within area of responsibility.
• Supports policy development by monitoring trends and evidence.
