Job summary

Limelight People is partnering with a leading Australian higher education organisation to appoint a Program Manager to lead the Cyber Security Uplift Program, driving governance, dependencies and delivery across multiple workstreams.

You will collaborate with senior stakeholders and technology teams to orchestrate delivery across cyber security, identity, endpoint, infrastructure, applications and service desk, with an initial 6-month contract and hybrid working.

Qualifications

  • Demonstrated experience delivering technology transformation, cyber security or uplift initiatives within complex enterprise environments.
  • Strong program and project management capabilities.
  • Proven experience managing dependencies, risks, issues, change and stakeholder impacts across multiple workstreams.
  • Exceptional stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Experience producing executive-level reporting and presenting to senior leadership.
  • Ability to navigate complex organisational environments and drive outcomes through collaboration and influence.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and oversee the Cyber Security Uplift Program across multiple workstreams.
  • Manage program sequencing, scheduling and delivery dependencies.
  • Ensure alignment between cyber security, identity, endpoint, infrastructure, applications, service desk, communications and business teams.
  • Track and report on milestones, deliverables and program outcomes.
  • Identify and manage risks, issues and change impacts across the program.
  • Drive stakeholder engagement and facilitate communication between technical and business teams.
  • Prepare clear and concise executive reporting, steering committee updates and governance documentation.
  • Support decision-making through proactive management of program impacts, dependencies and delivery risks.
  • Ensure appropriate governance, reporting and escalation processes are maintained throughout the program lifecycle.

Job description

Our client a leading Higher Education organisation is seeking an experienced Program Manager to lead the coordination and delivery of a significant Cyber Security Uplift Program.

This is a high-profile engagement focused on driving program governance, managing dependencies across multiple technology and business workstreams, and ensuring successful execution of critical cyber security initiatives across the organisation.

Working closely with senior stakeholders, technology teams and business leaders, you will be responsible for orchestrating delivery across cyber security, identity, endpoint, infrastructure, applications, service desk, communications and business functions.

This is initially a 6 month contract, with a view to extend.

Key Responsibilities

About You To be successful in this role, you will possess:

Desirable Experience
  • Project or Program Management qualification (PMP, PRINCE2, MSP or equivalent).
  • Experience within large and complex organisations such as Higher Education, Government or Enterprise environments.
  • Exposure to cyber security, identity management, infrastructure or enterprise technology programs.
