Job summary

Amazon Web Services Australia Pty Ltd in Canberra is seeking a highly organized Program Manager / Executive Assistant to support the ANZ Public Sector Federal Government business. You will manage day-to-day planning and provide executive support to the Head of Federal Government.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of program or project management experience.
• 3+ years of maintenance planner/scheduler experience in industrial maintenance, manufacturing, or distribution.
• 3+ years of advanced Microsoft Word and Excel experience.
• Experience in AI centric business with high proficiency in artifact management and automation of work processes.

Responsibilities

• Support day-to-day operational planning, cadence management, and business rhythm activities for the FED leadership team.
• Coordinate cross-vertical initiatives across sales, specialist, partner, and marketing teams to align FED priorities.
• Track and report on key business metrics, pipeline health, goal attainment and KPIs.
• Maintain and manage team planning documents, trackers, and dashboards.
• Drive operational improvements by identifying gaps and implementing solutions.
• Support annual and mid-year planning processes (OP1/OP2) including data gathering and timelines.
• Coordinate hiring activities including interview scheduling and onboarding logistics.
• Executive assistance to Head of Federal Government and manage complex calendars.
• Run customer engagement strategy with FED priorities for high customer care.
• Prepare briefing materials, agendas, and pre-reads for meetings.
• Coordinate executive engagements with government customers, partners, and internal stakeholders.

Key job responsibilities

• Support the ANZPS FED leadership team with day-to-day operational planning, cadence management, and business rhythm activities (WBRs, MBRs, QBRs, and planning cycles)
• Coordinate cross-vertical and cross-functional initiatives across sales, specialist, partner, and marketing teams to ensure alignment on FED priorities
• Track and report on key business metrics, pipeline health, goal attainment, and operational KPIs
• Maintain and manage team planning documents, trackers, and dashboards

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

• 2+ years of program or project management experience
• 3+ years of maintenance planner/scheduler in industrial maintenance, manufacturing, or distribution industries experience
