Job summary

First Nations Foundation Limited is seeking a national, remote Education & Outreach lead to design, deliver and continuously improve the Men’s Financial Fitness program. You will work with First Nations men and youth to co-design content, ensuring cultural safety and trauma-informed approaches, while supporting related programs.

The role involves travel across Australia and collaboration with partner organisations.

Qualifications

  • Significant experience with Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander communities and facilitating learning in culturally safe ways.
  • Experience working with First Nations men and boys, building trust and safe learning spaces.
  • Program development including co-design, piloting and continuous improvement.
  • Excellent written and verbal communications.
  • Strong reporting and project management skills.
  • Experience in settings like corrections or rehab is desirable.
  • Knowledge of trauma-informed practice and duty of care.

Responsibilities

  • Lead design, delivery and continuous improvement of the Men's Financial Fitness program.
  • Consult with First Nations men and youth to shape program content and co-design.
  • Develop curriculum, facilitator guides, session plans and evaluation tools.
  • Ensure content reflects cultural perspectives and practical money skills.
  • Coordinate delivery streams for justice settings and rehab services.
  • Build partnerships with communities and stakeholders for safe delivery.
  • Travel to urban, regional and remote communities to deliver training.
  • Support broader programs and contribute to content updates and impact reporting.
