Job summary

Multicultural Families Organisation (MFO) is seeking a Program Manager for the SARA DFV program on the Gold Coast. You will lead a CALD-focused team delivering culturally safe support, assessments and advocacy for women and children experiencing domestic and family violence.

You will oversee risk and safety planning, supervise staff, and ensure program compliance with standards and funding requirements, while building strong partnerships with CALD and mainstream organisations to improve outcomes.

Qualifications

• Relevant tertiary qualifications in human services, social work or related fields.
• Experience in DFV support, high-risk case management, and program leadership.
• Knowledge of DFV and child protection legislation; CALD community dynamics.
• Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills.
• Police check, driver's license, and Blue Card or ability to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support the SARA team to provide high-quality, culturally safe DFV services.
• Manage own case load and conduct risk, safety, and wellbeing assessments.
• Advocate for clients and align services with DFV principles and cultural competency standards.
• Build partnerships with CALD-specific and mainstream community organisations.
• Provide staff supervision, professional development, and training.
• Develop and maintain program policies, procedures, and audit tools.
• Represent the SARA Program at community events and stakeholder forums.
• Supervise case workers providing court support and referrals.
• Oversee HSQF framework audits against DFV Principles and standards.
