Wyndham District High School is a supportive Kindergarten to Year 12 (K-12) school with a strong culture of collaboration, reflection and professional growth. We use explicit teaching approaches and evidence-based programs and interventions, including Spelling Mastery, MacqLit and Prime Mathematics. As a participant in the Kimberley Schools Project, staff have access to high-quality professional learning, with all teachers supported to participate in classroom coaching, observation and feedback.

Guided by our motto, ‘Positive Attitudes, High Expectations’, we are a Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) school with a strong focus on student wellbeing and trauma-informed practice. We are seeking culturally responsive educators who build strong relationships, hold high expectations for every student, and are keen to contribute to our school and the wider Wyndham community.

Wyndham is located 100 kilometres from Kununurra and has a population of approximately 800 people. It is surrounded by some of the Kimberley’s most spectacular landforms, rivers, and wetlands, offering a host of outback adventures.
