Job summary

Mai-Wel Limited is seeking a Program Coordinator - Capacity Building to plan and monitor team performance, growth and outcomes to meet KPI targets and secure funding. You will develop employment pathway programs across funding streams and collaborate with schools, RTOs and education providers to deliver learning opportunities.

The role also involves creating learning resources, evaluating program impact, and maintaining partnerships to expand services and employment opportunities.

Qualifications

  • Three years' experience in program development or coordination.
  • Experience with budgets, funding, monitoring outcomes.
  • Experience developing and delivering programs for grants, funding and partnerships.
  • Understanding of NDIS Employment Supports and related frameworks.
  • Current NSW Driver Licence and Working with Children/N Dis Worker Screening checks.

Responsibilities

  • Plan and monitor team performance, service growth and outcomes to meet KPI targets and funding requirements.
  • Identify, package and deliver employment pathway and capacity building programs across multiple funding streams.
  • Develop learning experiences and resources aligned with employment outcomes and adult learning principles.
  • Collaborate with schools, RTOs and education providers for accredited and non-accredited learning.
  • Evaluate program effectiveness through outcomes and stakeholder feedback and keep resources current.

About The Role

As Program Coordinator - Capacity Building, you will:

  • Plan and monitor team performance, service growth and operational outcomes to achieve KPI targets and organisational objectives
  • Monitor financial performance and funding requirements while identifying growth, grant and business development opportunities
  • Facilitate the identification, packaging and delivery of employment pathway and capacity building programs across a range of funding streams
  • Develop innovative learning experiences and resources that align with employment outcomes, adult learning principles and participant capability development
  • Collaborate with RTOs and education providers to support accredited and non-accredited learning opportunities
  • Review program effectiveness through evaluation, participant outcomes and stakeholder feedback, ensuring learning resources remain current, evidence-based and compliant
  • Maintain strong operational strategic partnerships with schools, RTOs, and internal stakeholders to strengthen referral pathways, employment opportunities and participant outcomes
  • Leverage partnerships and coordinate collaborative projects, while representing Mai-Wel in education, employment and community forums to support sustainable employment pathways and participant outcomes.

Essential Qualifications & Experience
  • Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40122 or equivalent)
  • Minimum three years' experience in program development, program coordination, employment pathways, vocational education, community services or a related field
  • Experience identifying, tailoring, packaging and implementing programs or services to meet participant, stakeholder and funding requirements
  • Experience contributing to budgets, financial performance, funding requirements, while monitoring program outcomes and stakeholder feedback
  • Demonstrated experience identifying and developing opportunities to expand and diversify programs and service offerings through grants, funding, fee-for-service models, and strategic partnerships.
  • Experience producing high-quality reports, business documentation, proposals and funding applications
  • Understanding of NDIS Employment Supports and transition-to-employment frameworks & models
  • Current unrestricted NSW Driver Licence and current (or obtainable) Working with Children Check and NDIS Worker Screening Check.
Desirable Qualifications & Experience
  • Experience within disability services, NDIS employment supports, School Leaver Employment Supports (SLES) or school-to-employment transition programs and, working with or alongside RTOs and community services will be highly regarded
  • Experience developing and implementing grant-funded programs, new service offerings and fee-for-service initiatives
  • Experience analysing performance and outcome data to inform service improvement, business planning and decision-making
  • Qualifications in Community Services, Disability or Human Services
  • Cert IV or Diploma in Project Management, Quality Management or Communications.
